How our fees are typically staged (Canberra projects)
1) Feasibility / due diligence (high value, low spend)
 Site + zoning checks (ACTmapi), constraints mapping (overlays, easements, bushfire/heritage where relevant), basic massing/yield tests, rough order-of-cost guidance, and the recommended approvals pathway (exempt vs DA + BA). This phase prevents most budget blow-outs.
2) Concept + schematic design (design direction + early compliance)
 Design options aligned to your brief and budget, solar/siting logic, early planning checks, and coordination with key consultants as needed—enough resolution for meaningful cost checking.
3) Approvals / detailed design (DA-ready package where required)
 Design development to meet ACT planning outcomes and preparation of the DA documentation (if required), including coordination of supporting inputs and responses to information requests (as scoped).
4) Building Approval + construction documentation (technical certainty)
